Psychological Distress in Medical Students: Cross Sectional Study

Background: Medical students, especially those of higher classes, are more likely to be severely distressed due their clinical rotations. Moreover, exposure critical patients, lack social life and selection speciality etc few the stresses in lives senior medical students. Aim: To assess degree mental stress Study Design: Cross-sectional study. Methodology: The M.B.B.S students i.e., third, fourth fifth year were included current Kessler psychological distress scale was used Each questionnaires, having 10 questions, distributed among 230 at Farooq Hospital Westwood, Lahore. Out 230, 189 filled questionnaires. Data evaluated by using SPSS version 20. Results: Majority 36% had severe distress. About 19% 16% been found have mild moderate level respectively. Only 29 % doing well. Conclusion: It concluded that suffering from Keywords: Social Media, Students, Mental Health Distress.
